Marana Vista Academy is a personalized learning program for high school scholars in the Marana Unified School District.
Aligned with MHS and MVHS Athletics and Activities
Scholars attend classes on a modern campus located in Continental Ranch while remaining concurrently enrolled at Marana or Mountain View High Schools.

Marana Vista Academy is a personalized learning high school serving scholars in grades 9-12 within the Marana Unified School District.
Designed for scholars who thrive in a flexible, student-centered environment, Vista offers an innovative approach to education that goes beyond the traditional classroom. When fully enrolled, Vista will serve 400 scholars, fostering a close-knit learning community where every student is known, supported, and challenged.

Explore the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines at a Virtual Event Hosted by Mark Kelly on Saturday, April 18. This virtual session is open to all students interested in learning more about the U.S. Service Academies and the application process.

April 20 - May 1 there will be a temporary closure of the I-10 eastbound Tangerine Road off-ramp affecting drivers coming from Phoenix. Families are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate off-ramps exit 236, 242, or 244.

The community is invited to a once-in-a-century celebration, honoring 100 years of education, community, and tradition in MUSD on Sat., April 25, 2026. Special events include a daytime, free 100-Year celebration for families at MHS, and an evening dinner and fundraiser.

The “Get on Track with the Town of Marana” summer internship program is accepting applications from students interested in paid opportunities across Town of Marana Departments Building Development, Parks & Rec, Public Works, the Town Manager’s Office, and more.

The District received recognition for its response to a school bus accident traveling from Phoenix on I-10 near the Tangerine Exit in April 2025. Marana Unified School District is deeply honored to receive this award.

Marana Vista Academy is a new high school experience for scholars in the Marana Unified School District, offering tailored educational learning experiences that will help prepare them for the future.

Vista classes are taught in person, not online, and scholars are concurrently enrolled at Vista and Marana High School or Mountain View High School. Transportation will be provided for scholars from MHS and MVHS.

Designated learning spaces expand the footprint of Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes such as Business Management, Lab Assisting (Medical), and Dental Assisting. Scholars will have opportunities for project-based, hands-on learning, as well as internships, apprenticeships, and real-world applications of their studies.

Scholars will participate in project-based activities that allow them to customize their education to their needs, strengths, and interests. Scholars receive personalized instruction based on their learning styles, and they are given ownership of their learning.

As scholars are concurrently enrolled in Vista and Marana High School or Mountain View High School, they will have access to all traditional high school extracurricular activities and clubs.
