Health Office

Vista has a full-time Health Assistant available to care for scholars, including providing the following services:

• Illness and injury assessments and interventions
• Identification, assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of scholar health concerns
• Perform vision and hearing screenings
• Monitor immunization status
• Education to promote a healthy lifestyle
• Chronic disease assessment and management
• Medication administration and monitoring
• Assessment and referral for scholars with mental health needs
• School/ community/ health care provider liaison

Every scholar must have an up-to-date immunization on file from a documented source. To learn about scholar immunization requirements and our Health Services Department, please visit the Health & Wellness section of our website or refer to the Health Services section in the Student/Parent handbook for additional tips and guidelines.

Please remember, the Health Office DOES NOT provide any medication; however we are able to administer medication from the original container if a signed release form is on file in the health office.
